Recently, a close customer-friend of mine asked me to conceptualise a body oil for her that helps with positivity, high morale and good luck. Ideas of plants kept flowing into my head after speaking with her. I was telling her that this is such a good concept for the next upcoming seasonal body oil because everyone needs positivity and good vibes right now. As we are currently flooded with troubling news from all over the world, we could use some protection and bright, uplifting scents to help dissolve and overcome low vibrations and emotions.
I have decided to name it GOLD because the botanicals chosen are either of golden oils, or golden-yellow botanicals. Interestingly, this blend is made up of fully Asia-origin botanicals, and that makes it especially effective/powerful because of our shared DNA between these plants and us.
A specially prepared frankincense resin infused camellia tea seed extract infusion is made just for this formulation. Frankincense contains precious boswellic acids that are too heavy and big of a compound to be steam distilled into its essential oil. However, via a traditional method of oil infusion, we are able to obtain this highly anti-inflammatory medicinal phyto-compound which is famously known to inhibit cancerous cell growth. Using a herbal preparation containing boswellic acids help with reducing inflamed joints, body stiffness, swelling from inflammation, therefore preventing aging-related problems.
