Wool-Felted Donkey Milk Soap — Nazar & Olive Edition

Handcrafted in Turkiye by Eda @broomsticks.tr and her auntie, each bar is wrapped in hand-felted wool — a traditional technique that gently exfoliates the skin while letting the soap last longer. Think of it as a natural washcloth that never slips out of your hands.

Why Wool?

Wool is naturally textured, anti-bacterial, and perfect for gentle exfoliation.

It boosts circulation, removes dead skin cells, and creates a soft foam without irritating even sensitive skin. The felted layer also helps the soap dry slower, meaning it lasts significantly longer than a regular bar.

Why Donkey Milk?

Used since ancient Anatolian and Mediterranean times, donkey milk is rich in vitamins A, D, E, essential fatty acids, and natural lactic acid. It deeply moisturizes, supports the skin barrier, and leaves the skin visibly smoother and brighter — especially helpful for dry, dull, or easily irritated skin.

How It Feels on the Skin

The combination of donkey milk + wool creates a creamy but mildly exfoliating cleanse. The foam is silky, the exfoliation is soft, and the after-feel is “clean but hydrated.” No tightness, no residue — just nourished skin.

The Designs: Nazar & Olive

Each bar comes in one of two symbolic designs:

* 🧿 Nazar (Evil Eye): A centuries-old Anatolian talisman believed to protect against negative energies and jealousy. Used in Turkish homes, jewelry, textiles — basically everywhere protection is needed.

* 🫒 Olive Branch: A Mediterranean icon of peace, resilience, and longevity. The olive tree survives for centuries, rooted in ancient cultures and rituals throughout the region.
