LUNE DE VELOURS translates to Velvet Moonlight.

A dreamy luxurious hand & body soft cream, formulated with the intention of slowing down, returning to oneself with care and gentleness. The ritual of moisturising with this pale blue cream releases tension and deeply nourishes worn skin. Her soothing scent invites you to take a conscious pause for yourself, carving out a liminal space for dreams, beauty, and introspection.

Created thoughtfully with botanicals that are soulful allies to our nervous system. Blue cypress wood, Hojari frankincense and myrrh resins, mugwort and sage leaves, lavender and chamomile flowers, and oakmoss for that deep foresty bed as an anchor scent. Most of these plants are herbs of the moon (some imbuing sun energy as well), allowing us to sit in with our emotions and restore our inner peace. Lune de Velours is also designed to help reduce anxious nightmares and disturbed sleep, hence giving us a good restful slumber of pleasant dreams.

Another special ingredient associated with the moon, is the finely milled powder of farm-cultured freshwater Fukui pearls. Fukui pearl powder contains 18 kinds of amino acids, taurine, more than 20 kinds of minerals, and 15 trace elements. Pearl powder helps with delaying cell aging, skin whitening, reduces the appearances of acne blemishes, balances sebum control, pore tightening, and reduces skin inflammation - especially those with "heaty" (inner fire) and heat- aggravated skin/body constitution.

These eco sustainably grown pearls are painstakingly ground down by artisan pearl farmers using a traditional water-milling method, an ancient technique inherited from ancient Chinese medicine for creating exceptionally fine and soft medicinal powders. This water mill method employs a stone mill and alittle water to grind the pearls in a low-temperature environment, thereby preserving their vital nutrients and natural properties.

This pearlescent blue cream melts and glides beautifully on skin, leaving a luminous matte sheen when fully absorbed. Recommended to use after shower and/or during a quiet evening/night for a luxurious self-care me-time. Exceptionally supportive for cold climates if you're travelling during winter season. It will help protect and nourish your skin barrier and also reduce travel anxiety/stress.

Ingredient list: Theobroma cacao (cocoa) seed butter, Symphytum officinale (comfrey) infused Helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed oil, Fukui pearl powder, Callitris intratropica (blue cypress) wood oil, Citrus aurantifolia (lime) peel oil, Boswellia sacra (Hojari frankincense) gum oil, Matricaria recutita (German chamomile) flower extract, Lavandula angustifolia (lavender) flower oil, Commiphora myrrha (myrrh) resin extract, Artemisia vulgaris (mugwort) leaf oil, Salvia officinalis (sage) leaf oil, Evernia prunastri (oakmoss) extract.

Scent: Soft, dreamy, sweet, fresh. A tribute to the beauty of our moon. Smells like a night forest blanketed with blooming wildflowers under the illuminating moonlight presence. Peaceful, soulful and calming.

Aromatherapy effects: Calming and soothing to the nervous system, gently relaxes and releases tensions and discomfort. Puts one in a state of stillness and grace. Helps to relax the mind and promote restful sleep. May induce dreams, but less nightmares.

Skincare effects: Imparts an pearlescent glow that's not overly shiny, and moisturised skin glitters under natural sunlight. Skin feels and looks velvety soft, supple, moisturised and refined. Patchy, uneven pigmented skin looks even. Heals up dark blemishes/spots quickly with regular application. Skin also seems to look one shade lighter even after 1 application.

Usage: Apply onto neck, decolletage, chest, arms/hands and thighs/legs, taking the time to massage the cream in slowly. You can focus on skin/body areas that need more love :) I personally enjoy applying on behind my ears down to my neck, all around my neck, decolletage and shoulders down to my arm and hands. Also my thighs only - due to presence of goosepimples in this area.

For normal skin types, you may use it on its own. For dry skin types, please spritz a few times of hydrosol before Lune de Velours for optimal skin hydration, esp when using during winter climate.

Storage: keep in a cool dry place, such as bedroom or any air conditioned or cool room. Keep away from direct heat and sunlight/light. Always keep the cap lid closed shut when not using. Leave in fridge for an hour if balm is melted due to warm temperature - it will solidify again.

Precaution: Test patch for sensitive skin types. Not suitable for people with eczema and ultra sensitive skin. Not meant for face use due to higher concentration of active ingredients.
